Nederlandse stichting voor straatkinderen in Burundi

Educatie

Het is de sleutel om aan armoede te ontsnappen en armoede is tegelijk het grootste obstakel voor educatie. Embrace Burundi wil de kinderen van de straat een kans geven om (weer) naar school te gaan.

Medische Zorg

Door armoede, onvoldoende kennis of een ongeluk lopen de kinderen wonden op en ziekten als buiktyfus en malaria. Medicatie, mosquito netten en operaties worden bekostigd door Embrace Burundi.

Maaltijden

Studeren op een lege maag zorgt voor concentratieverlies en dus slechte resultaten. Embrace Burundi wil de kinderen gezonde maaltijden kunnen aanbieden en kan zo ook de ouder(s) tegemoet te komen in hun zorg voor de kinderen.

Evenementen

Embrace Burundi wil kinderen kind laten zijn. Dit kan door onze "kids events". Een speciale maaltijd, film kijken of sporten. Ook organiseren we graag een "outreach" om met elkaar ergens tot zegen te zijn en door eten of kleding uit te delen.
